Refund Policy
Our customers’ satisfaction is a high priority for us, and we want you to be happy with our tubers! We are a mom and pop team, and we have personally handled and inspected every tuber we ship. In fact, they have been inspected multiple times to ensure there is no rot and there is a growing eye. From planting to harvesting to shipping, our eyes are on them every step of the way. We only sell tubers that have grown in our gardens in Phillips, WI. We generally sell single tubers, but sometimes we send chunks of tubers or mini clumps.
We guarantee that your tubers will arrive free of rot and with at least one growing eye. We have had great success with tuber storage in previous years and have had minimal to zero shriveled tubers. However, we do not guarantee that the tubers will be beautiful. They come in all shapes and sizes, and as long as they have a body, unbroken neck, and growing eye, they will make a beautiful plant for you. That being said, we wouldn’t send anything out that we wouldn’t want to receive ourselves. If tubers are especially small (runt), we will sell them at a cheaper price or plant them ourselves.
TUBER INSPECTION:
Please inspect your tubers upon arrival and contact us within 48 hours if you have any concerns. Be ready to send us a photo if there are any problems. After the 48 hours we are no longer liable for the health of your tubers. Please ensure they are safely stored (in a sealed, cool, but never freezing environment where they won’t shrivel) until you are able to plant.
VARIETY GUARANTEE:
We try our very best to ensure that your tuber is true to variety as listed and pictured. We spend a lot of time labeling and photographing our varieties while they’re blooming. However, we are human and a mix up is possible. In the rare case that happens, we will refund you, give you a store credit, or replace the variety the following year.
***An exception to this would be in the case of a variety labeled "Unverified Bloom". If we have not confirmed the bloom for the current growing year, we clearly state this in the listing. These tubers are not guaranteed to be true to variety, and therefore they do not fall under the above guarantee.
VIRUS:
According to the American Dahlia Society, the vast majority of dahlias carry virus. So there is no possible way we can guarantee that your tuber is virus free. This is the reality, and people have been growing incredibly gorgeous dahlia blooms this way for years. We will not refund or replace a tuber that shows signs of virus after it starts growing. We do cull suspicious plants and sanitize between plants when cutting flowers or dividing tubers. Please google search “american dahlia society virus” for more information about virus in dahlias.
